Singham Again: Here’s when Rohit Shetty's cop film starring Ajay Devgn will ultimately release
There have been films which have just come and gone (read ‘vanished’) from the silver screen. But the fact remains that the Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao starrer Stree 2, is simply refusing to slow down. With each passing day, the film is setting new benchmarks and milestones. Many feel that, since there are no big daddy releases, Stree 2 will continue its dream run.
Talking about big daddy releases, there is one film which has everyone’s undivided attention. The film is none other than the Rohit Shetty directed Ajay Devgn starrer Singh Again. The film was actually supposed to be released on August 15 (Independence Day) along with the Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2, Akshay Kumar starrer Khel Khel Mein and John Abraham- Sharvari starrer Vedaa.
But, during the trailer launch of Auron Mein Kahaan Dum Tha, Ajay Devgn announced that the film Singham Again will be postponed because some portions need to be shot. After that, it was revealed that the Rohit Shetty directed film was all set to be released on Diwali this year. But again, there were rumours about the film being postponed as the auspicious Diwali slot has been claimed by the Kartik Aaryan starrer Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3.
Thereafter again, the release date of Singham Again was in question. But today, the well-known film critic Himesh Mankad took to social media and confirmed that Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn have now re-confirmed that the film’s release date is very much on track and will be having a grand Diwali 2024 release.
As for the film Singham Again, besides Ajay Devgn, it also stars Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar in the leading roles. Besides them, the film also will also star the likes of Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff, Shweta Tiwari, Ashutosh Rana, Siddhartha Jadhav, Dayanand Shetty and Arjun Kapoor, who will be seen in a negative career for the first time in his career.
