Singham Again - Ajay Devgn REVEALS reason for the film’s release date to be postponed from August 15

For all those who were waiting eagerly for the release of the Ajay Devgn starrer Singham Again, it now seems that the wait has just become a bit longer! The reason? Well… the film’s release has now been postponed.

And guess what! The ‘update’ about the film’s release being postponed was told by none other than Ajay Devgn himself to the media personnel who had come to attend the trailer launch of his new film Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha. And when asked about the reason for Singham Again to be postponed, Ajay Devgn said (read ‘revealed’) that the film’s shooting is incomplete and a few portions of the film’s scenes are still left to be shot!

Elaborating about the release date of the film Singham Again being postponed, Ajay Devgn said, “I am not sure (about the release date of Singham Again). Jo kaam chal raha tha film mein, woh abhi tak poora khatam nahi hua hai. Thodi bahut shooting bhi baaki hai. Toh… hum koi jaldi mein nahi hai, kyunki jaldbaazi mein kaam kharab hota hai. Toh jasie hum tayyar ho jayenge, hum tab decide karenge (I am not sure… because, the work on the film (Singham Again), which was started f earlier, has not yet been wrapped up yet. Also, a few portions of shooting of the film is pending as well. We just do not want to release the film in a hurry because (anything done in a hurry) often ruins it. So, when it is ready… we will release it then).

For the unversed, Singham Again was all set to be released on August 15 this year. All eyes were trained on this particular date, as this was the date which has become extremely sought-after dates amongst the film makers.

While on one hand, there was Singham Again (which has now been postponed), on the other hand, there is the super-duper-awaited Pushpa 2, which will be released on this date. And only yesterday, it was announced that, even the Akshay Kumar starrer Khel Khel Mein has been locked to be released on August 15.

As for the film Singham Again, it stars Ajay Devgn, Ranveer Singh and Akshay Kumar, who will represent the cop-verse of Singham, Simmba, and Sooryavanshi. The film also stars Deepika Padukone and Kareena Kapoor in all-important roles. The ‘to-watch-out-for’ role however is that of Tiger Shroff and Arjun Kapoor, who is all set to play an antagonist for the first time in his career. The film Singham Again, is like all the previous films, directed by Rohit Shetty.
