Singer KK dies at 53 in Kolkata while performing at a concert

Indian singer Krishnakumar Kunnath (KK) died in Kolkata on 31 May, 2022. The singer died while he was performing at cancert at Nazrul Manch in Kolkata, West Bengal.

The singer was brought to Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) where he was announced dead on arrival by the medical authorities. The singer was performing when he collapsed on stage and was rused to the hospital.

KK was 53 and regarded as one of the most versatile singers. 

The singer was born and brought in New Delhi and moved to Mumbai in 1994 to pursue a career in music. 

Known for songs in Bollywood like " Tadap Tadap" from Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam , Aankhon Mein Teri from OM Shanti Om , Dus Bahane from Dus, Tu Aashiqui Hai from Jhankar Beats among several others. He also sang songs in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Bengali.
