Taking to his social media pages, he wrote, "Dum + Manmadhan + Vallavan + VTV in Gen Z mode = NAMBA NEXT!!!"

While fans have been trying to decode what his next announcement could be, the actor has now revealed on social media that the official announcement of his next film will be made tomorrow, October 21, 2024. Sharing the news, the Tamil actor wrote, "Dei 2k kids, 90’s mood la nalaiku sharp ah 6.06 pm ku varen."

Though fans are still trying to figure out which director the actor will be collaborating with, his new tweets have sent fans into a frenzy, with many eagerly anticipating the exciting project announcement.

Although the actor has remained tight-lipped about his upcoming project, close sources reveal that his next film, which also marks his 50th feature film, is set to be directed by himself. Yes, you read that right! According to reports, the actor is planning to direct his 50th film. However, an official confirmation is expected soon. For the unversed, the actor had last directed his 2006 romantic drama Vallavan.

Meanwhile, the actor is currently gearing up for his upcoming film Thug Life, directed by Mani Ratnam and Kamal Haasan. Silambarasan recently completed the dubbing portions for the film. Touted to be a gangster drama, Thug Life features an ensemble cast including Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, Ali Fazal, Pankaj Tripathi, Trisha, Gautham Karthik, Ashok Selvan, Abhirami, Nassar, Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Vaiyapuri, and others. The original background score and soundtrack for this gangster drama have been composed by the musical genius A.R. Rahman.
