Sikandar: Salman Khan to kickstart shooting soon? Here’s all we know

    Bollywood star Salman Khan will soon kickstart shooting for his upcoming film, Sikandar, on June 18 with a breath-taking aerial action sequence. Helmed by A R Murugadoss, the film is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala. The film is expected to hit the theatres on Eid 2025.

    Salman Khan to start shooting for Sikandar

    According to reports, Bollywood star Salman Khan will commence shooting for his upcoming film, Sikandar, soon with a spectacular aerial action scene. Salman Khan will shoot the scene aboard an aircraft, 33,000 feet above sea level.

    Earlier, Salman took to Instagram and shared the title and first poster of the film on April 11. He captioned the post, "Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar Milo (Watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan on this Eid, next Eid, meet Sikandar) Wish u all Eid Mubarak!"

    Helmed by A R Murugadoss, Sikandar, starring Salman Khan and Rashmika Mandanna, is backed by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. This will mark Salman's first collaboration with the Ghajini director. On the other hand, Salman and Sajid have previously collaborated on projects such as Kick, Judwaa and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. According to reports, Sikandar will hit the theatres on Eid 2025.

    A R Murugadoss projects

    Director A R Murugadoss is shooting a Tamil action film titled SK23, starring Sivakarthikeyan, the shooting for the movie is expected to continue this month. According to a report by Mid-Day, "Before Sikandar goes on floors, Murugadoss wants to wrap up maximum portions of SK23. After he shoots the first schedule of Sikandar, he will go back to finish Sivakarthikeyan's movie. From July, he will be fully immersed in the Salman-starrer."

    A R Murugadoss is best known for directing Tamil and Hindi films such as Ghajini, Thuppakki, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty and Sarkar. He had earlier written the script of Salman’s 2014 movie Jai Ho, which was a remake of Murugadoss’ Telugu hit Stalin.

    Salman was last seen in Maneesh Sharma’s Tiger 3, alongside Katrina Kaif.
