Sidhu had crooned popular tracks from hit albums like ‘Snitches Get Stitches’, ‘Moosetape’, and ‘PBX 1.’ Now, fans have been pointing out a sad similarity between his tragic demise and his song ‘ The Last Ride .’
Sidhu Moosewala shared his song ‘The Last Ride’ on his Youtube channel on May 15. Ever since Sidhu’s death, fans were quick in pointing out how the track is eerily similar to the way he died. The song was a tribute to the late rapper Tupac Shakur aka 2Pac who had been assassinated in his car in the year 1996 at the mere age of 25. The music album’s main display picture was the car wherein the rapper was sitting at the time of his murder.
One of the netizens wrote, “Just last week he released a song named The last ride and those were the lyrics: Ho Chobbar De Chehre Utte Noor Dassda, Ni Ehda Uthuga Jawani Vich Janaaza Mithiye.” For the unversed, the literal translation of the song talks about a person passing away in his youth. Another user stated, “Irony is the last song Sidhu Moosewala dropped was the last ride and its cover was 2 pac assassination car, the same way Sidhu is killed. Two weeks after releasing a song called The Last Ride Sidhu was shot dead in his car. Such is life. Legend.”
