Shraddha Kapoor surpasses Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Instagram to become second-most-followed Indian!

It really seems that the lady luck is shining on the Stree … we mean... Shraddha Kapoor and how! On one hand, her latest film Stree 2 has been setting the box office on fire, and on the other hand, she has now surpassed none other than Priyanka Chopra Jonas on Instagram! Yes… you heard it right.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas has now overtaken the global desi superstar Priyanka Chopra Jonas as far as the followers are concerned on Instagram! Speaking about the followers, while Priyanka Chopra Jonas stands at 91.8 million followers, the Stree 2 actress Shraddha Kapoor has now touched the magical figure of 91.8 million followers!

With this Shraddha Kapoor has not just surpassed Priyanka Chopra Jonas, but also the likes of many other ‘Insta-Mighty’ celebs like Alia Bhatt, Katrina Kaif, Deepika Padukone, Neha Kakkar, Jacqueline Fernandez and others. This also includes the Instagram account of India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi as well.

As for the Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree 2, the film has been on a record-breaking spree, right from the word go. As of date, the film’s collections at the box office stands at more than Rs. 300 crores (in India). Besides Shraddha Kapoor, the film also stars Rajkummar Rao, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in prominent roles.

While the film has been directed by Amar Kaushik, it has been produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande. For the still-unversed, the story follows the trail left behind by a mysterious creature named Sarkata, who lands up kidnapping all the young girls and ladies from the village for his own set of reasons.

And it takes Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s wit, presence of mind and power to overcome the dangerous Sarkata.
