Shehnaaz Gill fans where are you guys? It’s celebration time as the actress took to her social media handle to announce the shoot of her upcoming film Sab First Class. She has kickstarted the filming of the same wherein she will star opposite Varun Sharma of Fukrey fame. The movie which is touted to be a family entertainer will be helmed by Balwinder Singh Janjua and will be produced by Murad Khetani.
Talking about the post, Shehnaaz and Varun can be seen posing with the director and producer of Sab First Class while holding onto the clapboard of the film. Shehnaaz looks pretty in a casual grey turtle-neck full-sleeved tee along with a printed blue palazzo. While Varun opted for an all-black ensemble. She captioned the post stating, “2024 begins” along with several celebratory emojis. The second picture of the post was a closer look at the clapboard. Take a look at the same.
The comedy film is being shot in Chandigarh. A source close to the project revealed it to be a direct-to-digital release. The source said, “The shoot begins today in Chandigarh and it’s going to be a marathon start-to-finish schedule. It’s a situational comedy and is designed as a direct-to-digital project. It’s a shift in genre for Balwinder as well, and the team truly believes that the film will bring about ample of laughter among the audiences.”
Apart from Shehnaaz and Varun, the movie will also star Kusha Kapila, Manu Rishi Chadha, and Faisal Malik in pivotal roles. The Bigg Boss 13 fame’s fans flooded her comment section with congratulatory messages. It will be interesting to witness the chemistry between Shehnaaz and Varun who are known for their comedic and entertaining stints in their previous works. Shehnaaz will also collaborate with Diljit Dosanjh for the second time in the Punjabi film Ranna Cha Dhanna.
