'She used to starve, wanted to look good' : Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor makes shocking revelations on her health
Boney Kapoor revealed that his late wife and actress Sridevi used to starve herself since she wanted to look good.

Sridevi’s untimely demise on February 28, 2018 had left all the fans and the entire entertainment industry in shock. The actress had died due to accidental drowning in Dubai igniting several conspiracy theories surrounding her death. After her family maintained a dignified silence, her husband and producer-actor Boney Kapoor has now broken his silence on the same. He revealed some shocking revelations on the actress’ health which might have been the reason behind her tragic death.
Talking about the same, Boney Kapoor said that his late wife would indulge in excessive starving since she wanted to look good. This also affected her health severely. The Tu Jhooti Main Makkar actor told in an interview with New Indian, “She often used to starve; she wanted to look good. She wanted to make sure she’s in good shape, so that on-screen, she looks good. From the time she was married to me, she had blackouts on a couple of occasions, and the doctor kept on saying she had a low BP issue.”
Boney Kapoor furthermore said that he underwent questioning for 48 hours after Sridevi’s demise. The Mr India producer added, “It was not a natural death; it was an accidental death. I had decided not to speak about it because I spoke about it for almost 24 or 48 hours together when I was being investigated and interrogated. In fact, the officers said we had to go through this because there was a lot of pressure from the Indian media. And they discovered there was no foul play. I went through all the tests, including lie detector tests and all those things. And then, of course, the report which came clearly stated it was accidental.”
Apart from this, Boney Kapoor also rubbished the rumors of his daughter Janhvi Kapoor being born before his marriage to Sridevi. He had tied the knot with the English Vinglish actress in a hush-hush ceremony on June 2, 1996 in Shirdi. However, the couple married publicly on January the following year after the late actress’ pregnancy started to show.
