'She always tries to copy Katrina': Shehnaaz Gill gets trolled for her look and Haryanvi rap in Ghani Syaani

Shehnaaz Gill ’s new song ‘Ghani Syaani’ was released yesterday (December 5) and while many fans of the actress were left super impressed, the same cannot be said for some netizens. Shehnaaz took to her social media handle to share a clip from the song wherein she can be seen singing a verse in Haryanvi. The actress’ look from the clip bears a stark resemblance to that of Katrina Kaif from the song ‘Kinna Sonna’ from Phone Bhoot . This left some netizens trolling the actress for allegedly trying to imitate Katrina and also for her verse which they felt wasn’t up to the mark.

Talking about the same, Shehnaaz Gill can be seen crooning a rap verse from ‘Ghani Syaani’ and her look consisting of a tight-fitting red dress and bangers for a hairdo is quite similar to that of Katrina Kaif from the track ‘Kinna Sonna’ from Phone Bhoot. Right from her look resembling that of Katrina to her singing, some netizens were quick to hurl brickbats at the Honsla Rakh actress. Take a look at the video.

All this will not make you like her.” While another user said, “Pls stop ruining songs with autotune, your own voices are soo good.” A netizen added, “Yaar mujhe to bilkul hi achha nahi laga ye gana kya aur bhi hain meri tarah sochne wale?” while another fan of Shehnaaz Gill said, “Jo last me gaya he 'ghani sayani' vo Acha lag raha he Sana ki voice me but rap vo b haryanavi bilkul suit ni kar raha. Sana your are a good singer but definitely not a rapper.” Apart from this, there were many fans of the actress who were left unimpressed by her rapping in the song. However, Shehnaaz also had her fair share of cheerleaders who lauded her for taking a risk with the ‘Ghani Syaani’ song.
