Sharvari Wagh pens note for Vedaa co-star John Abraham, drops hint about his role

    Sharvari shared a poster of her film Vedaa featuring herself along with John Abraham. Helmed by Nikhil Advani, the film will release on August 14.

    Sharvari Wagh will feature alongside John Abraham in her upcoming film Vedaa. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, the actress has penned a note for John hinting that the actor will be playing the role of her mentor in the film.

    Taking to Instagram, Sharvari shared a poster image of her film Vedaa featuring herself along with John. She captioned the post, “Abhimanyu Sir, Mhaari duniya mein aap ek akele aise insaan ho jisne kabhi-koi fark nahin kiya...” She said he is her teacher who has always supported her and made her a fighter against all the injustices of the world. “Taught me not to tolerate injustice but you have formed a relationship with mine to fight injustice. You are my inspiration and for more Vedaas like me. On the occasion of Guru Purnima, this is my promise to you that the fight that I have started against injustice, I will keep fighting till the end and I will win it. Your student, Vedaa. #Vedaa releasing in cinemas this Independence Day🇮🇳.”

    In the poster, Sharvari is dressed in a brown kurta with dirty cargo pants and messy hair and her knee is bleeding. John, dressed in a casual black ensemble, offers a glass of water.

    After coming across her post, Sharvari and John’s fans expressed their excitement for the upcoming film. One fan wrote, “Finally John Abraham,” while another said, “Can’t wait.”

    Vedaa release date

    Helmed by Nikkhil Advani, Vedaa starring Sharvari Wagh and John Abraham will release on August 14. The film marks another collaboration with John and Nikkhil after movies like Batla House and Salaam-e-Ishq. Written by Aseen Arora, Vedaa stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Abhishek Banerjee in supporting roles. Vedaa is backed by John, Monisha Advani and Madhu Bhojwani under their Zee Studios, Emmay Entertainment, and JA Entertainment banners.
