‘Shah Rukh ko ashirwad do’: Rakhi Sawant asks her mother to give SRK blessings; promises to make a reel for Pathaan

Controversy queen and mega entertainer Rakhi Sawant has had a tough couple of weeks. After coming out of the Bigg Boss Marathi 4 house, where she was participating as a challenger, the actress revealed that her mother is in a critical condition at the hospital. She is currently being treated for cancer as well as a brain tumour. Soon after, Rakhi announced her secret wedding to beau Adil Khan Durrani. While he initially didn’t react, the businessman eventually accepted her as his wife. Rakhi later shared that she was pregnant and suffered a miscarriage.

As she was going through a difficult time, Rakhi could not show her support to her favourite superstar Shah Rukh Khan , who is gearing up for the release of his comeback film Pathaan . In her latest media interaction, Rakhi apologized for the same and promised to make an Instagram reel on his new song soon. She wished him all the best and asked her mother to give the superstar blessings for his much awaited release. Rakhi called out to her mother, who was not there, and said, “Maa! Maa, Pathaan ko ashirwad do, Shah Rukh ko ashirwad do unki film super hit ho jaaye.”

Rakhi shares a special bond with SRK because they shared the screen in the 2004 blockbuster hit film Main Hoon Na. Well, we are sure her mother’s blessings will work for the superstar, who is returning to movies after a hiatus of 5 long years. Also starring Deepika Padukone as a fellow spy and John Abraham as the deadly antagonist, Pathaan has been helmed by War director Siddharth Anand. It will hit the silver screen on 25th January. Post his comeback, SRK has two more projects lined up in his kitty– Dunki with Rajkumar Hirani and Atlee Kumar’s action thriller Jawan. Just like Rakhi Sawant, we can’t wait to see SRK shine in and as Pathaan tomorrow!
