According to a news report in Etimes, Shah Rukh Khan had also contracted the virus along with the likes of Katrina Kaif , Kartik Aaryan , and Aditya Roy Kapur . This had also left fans wondering if his diagnosis is the reason behind his absence from the 22nd International Indian Film Academy Awards, which was held in Abu Dhabi, the United Arab Emirates on June 4. Many netizens also blamed the rise of cases on filmmaker Karan Johar ’s 50thbirthday bash, which was attended by several big wigs from the Indian film industry recently. The party reportedly left around 50 to 55 guests contracting COVID-19 and SRK was one of the eminent guests who had graced the occasion.
