Shah Rukh Khan reveals how he manages to execute power-packed action scenes at 57
As his 1992 film Deewana completed 31 years, Shah Rukh Khan held an AskSRK session and responded to fans' interesting questions on Twitter.
Shah Rukh Khan on Sunday held an impromptu AskSRK session for fans as his Bollywood debut film, Deewana(1992) clocked 31 years. ”Wow just realised it’s 31 yrs to the day when Deewana hit the screens. It’s been quite a ride mostly a good one. Thanks all and we can do 31 minutes of #AskSRK ??” Shah Rukh wrote on Twitter. The fans were quick to spam the micro-blogging site with questions regarding his upcoming film Jawan. Some also asked about his proudest achievement, handling negativity and even his smoking habit.
One of the fans asked about how he managed high-octane action sequences at the age of 57. “Sir 57 ki Age me Itne Sare Action Stunt karne ke Raaz?” wrote a fan. Responding to him, the superstar quipped, “Bahut painkillers khaane padhte hain bhai….(Have to take a lot of painkillers). Another fan asked about his ‘epic entry’ with the song ‘Koi Na Koi Chahiye’ in Deewana. “Sir, how do you feel when you watch this epic entry of yourself? It's been 31 years and it still gives us chills,” asked the user. And SRK replied, “Should have worn a helmet!!!”
Shah Rukh also replied to a woman who wanted to name her babies Pathaan and Jawan. “Sir i am pregnant with twin babies..wish me luck I will name them Pathaan and Jawan,” she stated. And SRK said, “All the best but please name them something better!!”. One of the fans also asked SRK to react to PM Modi’s welcome chants in the US, “Sir Chaiyya Chaiyya chants welcomed Modi Ji in the US....What do you wanna say about this?.” The actor had a witty response, “Wish I was there to dance to it….but they wouldn’t allow a train inside I guess??!!!” One of the users offered him to smoke a cigarette with him, to which SRK replied, “Main apni buri aadatein akele hi karta hoon!!”
Meanwhile, Shah Rukh was last seen in Pathaan alongside John Abraham and Deepika Padukone. He is next geared up for the action thriller Jawan directed by Atlee. The film also stars Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara and Sanya Malhotra. While Deepika, Allu Arjun and Sanjay Dutt will reportedly be making cameo appearances in the movie.
