After having captured the hearts and attention of the Indian audiences, the Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanthara, and Vijay Sethupathi starrer is now all set to be released in Japan. This action-packed thriller, laced with high-octane sequences and a gripping storyline, will be hitting Japanese cinema screens on 29 November 2024. With this, the Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan joins the list of Bollywood movies to be released worldwide.
The announcement was made by Shah Rukh Khan himself on social media. After having posted the film’s Japanese poster, he captioned the post as, Ek kahani justice ki...vengeance ki...villain aur hero ki... Ek kahani Jawan ki... Aa rahi hai Japan ke theatres mein pehli baar!!! Toh ab reh gaya bas ek sawaal- Ready-ah? The fire & action you all loved is making a massy massy massy arrival in Japan! #Jawan hits the screens in Japan on 29th Nov, 2024!’
Looking back, when the film completed one year, Shah Rukh Khan took to social media and posted a heartfelt note. He wrote, "The film that we made with a lot of heart… has turned one year ‘old’ today… or shall I say one year ‘Jawan’. Without the storytelling, skill and vision of @Atlee_dir, this film wouldn’t have been possible and of course… massy massy massy!!! Sending my love to the team that toiled away to make this film what it is — @NayantharaU @VijaySethuOffl, @deepikapadukone, all the Chief’s girls and @RedChilliesEnt!! And thank you to the audiences for accepting our film with such love and happiness!!! #1YearOfJawan’.
Within minutes of him posting the poster and making the grand announcement, there were many netizens who simply expressed their love for King Khan and the film in the form of their lovely comments.
One user wrote, ‘SRK’s charismatic presence and ability to connect with audiences across cultures have made him a household name and I am sure with Jawan being released in Japan, the Japanese will fall in love with its high-octane action sequences, gripping narrative, and powerful performances. This film is only expected to further cement his status as an international superstar.

As for the film Jawan, besides Shah Rukh Khan, it also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi and Deepika Padukone in the leading roles. While the film had been directed by Atlee, it was produced by Gauri Khan and Gaurav Verma. The Japanese version of Jawan will be relaesed on November 29, 2024.
