Shah Rukh Khan in talks with Stree 2’s Amar Kaushik for a film? Here’s what we know

The Amar Kaushik directed Stree 2 has already created history and continues to do so, ever since the time it was released. The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer is showing no signs of slowing down. As a matter of fact, the film today even celebrates its 50 days of release! Recently, there were rumours that the film’s director is now all set to be directing the third part of the horror comedy.

While we cannot confirm about any kind of development on the third part of Stree 2, we can tell you about the filmmaker Amar Kaushik’s reported next film. As per a source-based report in Pinkvilla, it has been stated that, none other than the Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is in talks with Amar Kaushik to discuss the possibility of a film.

The said report mentioned that Shah Rukh Khan has been meeting many filmmakers who are discussing their projects with King Khan. Amidst all this, Shah Rukh Khan is reportedly in talks with Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan for a ‘big-ticket adventure’ film. The said report stated that, unlike to many people’s expectations, the said film will have nothing to do with the Stree verse. On the contrary, Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan are planning a new ‘verse’ for Shah Rukh Khan

The same report continued that, as a step in the direction, there were as many as two to three meetings which had reportedly taken place between Shah Rukh Khan and Amar Kaushik and Dinesh Vijan for their next project, which is yet to be finalised.

Speaking about Stree 2, the film is creating records one after another. The film stars Rajkummar Rao, Shraddha Kapoor, Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee and Aparshakti Khurana in the leading roles. While the film has been directed by Amar Kaushik, it has been produced by Dinesh Vijan and Jyoti Deshpande.
