Jawan’s famous dialogue ‘Bete ko haath lagane se pehle, baap se baat kar’ has been etched in every fan's heart ever since the action entertainer's trailer was launched a week before its release. And now, superstar Shah Rukh has given the iconic dialogue a spin with a 'beti’ version at the Jawan special event in Mumbai.

A video has gone viral from the event wherein SRK could be seen on the stage interacting with fans. He was seen wearing a grey t-shirt layered with a black jacket and paired with black pants. “Beti ki taraf aankh uthaane se bhi pehle baap se baat kar (Before you dare to look at the daughter, talk to her father),” he could be heard saying while the audience cheered for him. “It should be for all the girls and women,” the actor added. Maa ko kiya wada hoon, ya adhura ek irada hoon, main achha hoon, bura hu, sahi bol raha hoo naa...punya hoon ya paap hoon, ye khud se puchna…Kyuki main bhi..(I do not know who I am! I am the promise I made to my mother, or an incomplete desire, I am good, I am bad.. am I saying it correctly? I am virtue or sin.. ask yourself first... because I too am...),”he concluded with a smile.

Jawan, which was released on September 7, has been shattering records at the box office. It has been running steady at the box office unaffected by the new releases.
