The latest update on Shah Rukh Khan is that he had been chosen as the recipient of this year’s most prestigious Pardo alla Carriera Ascona-Locarno Tourism award at the 77th Locarno Film Festival. Nazzaro, who happens to be Artistic Director of the Locarno Film Festival.

In the said interview, Shah Rukh Khan went on to confirm the news that many had been waiting for with bated breath- his next film! So, Shah Rukh Khan confirmed that his next film will be with director Sujoy Ghosh. Talking about the same, Shah Rukh Khan said, “There are certain kinds of films that I want to do, maybe it’s more age centric and I want to try something for 6-7 years. I've been thinking about it and I mentioned it to Sujoy one day while we were sitting. He works with us at our office, he’s made some films for us. He says, "Sir, I’ve a subject.”

Film's director
As for the said film, the ongoing buzz is that, while the film will be directed by Sujoy Ghosh, it will be produced by Shah Rukh Khan and Siddharth Anand and that the film will be reportedly shot abroad as well as in India (a few portions). The film will star Abhishek Bachchan, Suhana Khan, Abhay Verma and Shah Rukh Khan himself. The film is expected to go on floors in November this year.
