But yesterday he decided to take a break from his hectic work schedule and jetted off to Kolkata for his team Kolkata Knight Riders match against Royal Challengers Bangalore . He was accompanied by his daughter Suhana Khan and her best friend Shanaya Kapoor. The soon to be actresses have also been busy gearing up for their big Bollywood debuts, so this was a nice breather for them.

    Well, Suhana and Shanaya turned out to be the team’s lucky charms because last night Kolkata Knight Riders won their very first match in IPL 2023 by beating Royal Challengers Bangalore. It was a glorious win for the team and SRK was over the moon with joy. A video of him celebrating his team’s victory at Eden Gardens has now gone viral on social media. In this adorable clip, he rushes to greet RCB player Virat Kohli . They gave each other a warm hug before Shah Rukh tried to teach Virat the hook step of his trending track Jhoome Jo Pathaan from Siddharth Anand’s film.

His daughter Suhana, on the other hand, will begin her Bollywood journey with Zoya Akhtar’s Netflix film The Archies, which also marks the debut of Janhvi Kapoor’s sister Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda.
