    There are some films in Bollywood which do not fall under the category of not just hits, superhits and smash hits. There is another section under which certain films fall under – all time immortal films. The Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta starrer Veer-Zaara is one such film which falls under this category.

    These are the times when many of the Bollywood films are being re-released. Keeping up with the said trend, the Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta starer Veer-Zaara has also now been re-released in cinemas.

    And guess what! After being re-released, the film has now managed to cross the super magical figure of Rs. 100 crores at the box office last week. The well-known trade analyst Taran Adarsh gives the download of how the film Veer Zaara managed to collect Rs. 100 crores on its re-release.

    Taran Adarsh took to social media and posted that, the Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta starrer collected Rs. 20 lakhs on September 13- Friday, Rs. 32 lakhs on September 14, Rs. 38 lakhs on September 15, Rs. 20 lakhs on September 16, Rs. 18 lakhs on September 17, Rs. 15 lakhs on September 18 and Rs. 14 lakhs on September 19.

    All of this adds up to a total of Rs. 1.57 crores, which happens to be the film’s total domestic box office collection after it got re-released. Added to that is Rs. 0.23 crores which the film had earned from the overseas market after it got re-released.

    As for the film Veer Zaara, besides the inimitable leading pair of Shah Rukh Khan and Preity Zinta (who played the evergreen roles of Sqn. Ldr. Veer Pratap Singh and Zaara Hayaat Khan respectively). Besides them, the film also saw the presence of Rani Mukerji (in the role of Saamiya Siddiqui), Amitabh Bachchan, Hema Malini, Divya Dutta, Manoj Bajpayee, Boman Irani, Anupam Kher and Kirron Kher in all-important roles.

    While the film was directed by the late Yash Chopra, it was produced by Yash Chopra and Aditya Chopra.
