Sector 36 trailer out: Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal's intense crime thriller will leave you intrigued

What happens when two stellar actors come together for a gripping crime thriller? The resultant is bound to be magical of course! Well, that’s exactly the case with the latest Netflix offering Sector 36, which stars Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal in the leading roles.

On his part, Deepak Dobriyal took to social media and shared the gripping trailer as shared by Netflix from their handle. He captioned the same as, ‘Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal, in a killer cat and mouse chase to the dark and unsettling truth. The series starts off with a kidnapping of a small kid. And the kidnapper’s character is played by none other than the stellar actor Vikrant Massey (who plays the role of enigmatic yet beguiling Prem Singh), who lures the child with a chocolate and kidnaps him, only to eventually murder him. This is then followed by a face off of Vikrant Massey along with the character of Inspector Ram Charan Pandey (played by Deepak Dobriyal).

The trailer injects an element of chill when Vikrant Massey spinelessly enquires about Deepak Dobriyal’s daughter and to him only! This is then followed by the kidnapping of Deepak Dobriyal’s daughter. And now, since the ‘justice becomes personal’, Deepak Dobriyal is ready to walk any extra mile to ensure the safety and also the safe return of his daughter.

The audiences are then led to a chilling fact that states that, this was not the first time when a child has got kidnapped from the locality. What follows after that are a series of investigations that is interspersed with a cat and mouse game that gets played between Deepak Dobriyal and Vikrant Massey’s respective characters.

The said show Sector 36, which has been inspired by true events, has been directed by debutante Aditya Nimbalkar. Besides Vikrant Massey and Deepak Dobriyal, the show also stars the veteran actor Akash Khurana. You can catch up with Sector 36 as it starts streaming on September 13, exclusively on Netflix. The show has been produced by Dinesh Vijan & Jyoti Deshpande under the banner of Maddock Films and Jio Studios.
