Satish Kaushik's wife rubbishes allegations made by businessman Vikas Malu's wife, Delhi police initiates probe

Actor-filmmaker Satish Kaushik ’s death case has been witnessing some major development. Recently, his wife Shashi Kaushik refuted the claims made by businessman Vikas Malu’s wife Saanvi. She said that her husband had visited Delhi to take part in Holi celebrations and he shared a good friendship with Vikas. She mentioned that there would be no situation that he will need money from her husband as he is very rich. She rubbished off claims of any financial transaction made by Saanvi and even asked her to withdraw her case.
For the unversed, the filmmaker died at 66, following a cardiac arrest in Delhi on March 9, 2023. He was in the city to attend the Holi celebration at Vikas’s farmhouse, where at the midnight he complained of chest pain and was taken to Gurugram hospital. After his unfortunate death, Saanvi levelled serious accusations against her husband claiming his role in the actor’s death. She wrote a letter to the Delhi Police commissioner about the same, following which the police initiated the probe into the matter.
As per latest reports, Delhi Police have contacted Saanvi to record her statement. She has not yet recorded the statement as per India Today reports. Earlier, Saanvi alleged that her husband had borrowed Rs 15 crore from Kaushik and did not wish to return it, hence planned to murder in order to get rid of him. Following his claims, Vikas shared a post wherein he denied his involvement in Kaushik's death. He also told ANI, “ If she (Saanvi Malu) wants to do some hype in front of the media, I can do nothing about it. The police and government are there and if I’m wrong, then I’m ready to face anything. Her allegations are wrong or else she should show proof.”
Meanwhile, Shashi also said that the post-mortem report has confirmed that the late actor had 98 percent of blockage in his arteries and no drugs were found in his body. Workwise, the late actor shot for Kangana Ranaut’s political drama Emergency, and Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan, before his death.
