Sara Ali Khan doesn’t care about online trolls; says ‘there’s a difference between appreciation & validation’
While Sara Ali Khan is adored by all, being a celebrity she often faces negative remarks from trolls.
Actress Sara Ali Khan is currently soaring high on the success of Atrangi Re . While there were some who found the story line of Aanand L Rai ’s directorial slightly problematic, most fans and critics loved the actress’ portrayal of Rinku Sooryavanshi . Well, in her Bollywood career of just 4 years, Sara has seen many ups and downs along the way. She became the public’s favorite post Kedarnath and Simmba, but was mercilessly trolled after the release of Love Aaj Kal which did not do as well. Nevertheless, Sara feels that learnings from failure teach an individual far more in life than the happiness of successes.
In a recent chat with Hindustan Times, Sara shared that she has enjoyed criticism ever since she was a child. Talking about online trolls, she said, “If I’m being trolled for my work, it affects me, because I’m making films for the audiences. So if they’re not liking it, it’s a problem. But, if I’m being trolled for saying what I am being or being who I am, then I don’t really care. My mental peace doesn’t depend on what people say. You should learn and aspire for appreciation but there’s a difference between appreciation and validation.” And Sara understands the difference between appreciation and validation.
Well, up next Sara will be seen in Laxman Utekar's untitled next opposite the very talented Vicky Kaushal . They are currently in Indore, Madhya Pradhesh shooting for the same.
