Akshay Kumar ’s Samrat Prithviraj was released on the big screen today (June 3). While the movie has been receiving a mixed response from the critics and masses alike, it seems like film critic Kamaal R Khan aka KRK has found an opportunity to take a serious dig at the film. He shared the picture of an empty theatre from where he was watching the movie and stated that the ‘propaganda’ has not worked for the movie overseas.

Talking about the same, KRK shared a picture on his social media handle of the empty theatre hall. The Deshdrohi actor tweeted, “First show of #Prithiviraj has started and I am all alone in the theatre. Propaganda does not work in overseas market.” Take a look at the tweet.

Furthermore, Kamaal R Khan also took some sharp digs at some of the scenes from the movie. The Ek Villain actor mocked the death sequence of Samrat Prithviraj Chauhan and also criticized the scene where Mohammad Ghori’s soldiers capture the king. He further took a jibe at the relationship between Prithviraj and his wife Sanyogita in the movie.

However, when his tweets angered some netizens, KRK wrote, “If you feel bad about this tweet then abuse Akki and Director who are making joke of Prithviraj in the film, not me. Because I am just saying that whatever I have seen in the film.” Take a look at his tweet.

KRK also tweeted a picture of an empty theatre screening Samrat Prithviraj wherein his friend is also watching the movie. Earlier, the film critic had shared a post wherein he had predicted that the period drama will be a disaster since there is no powerful villain in it. His tweet had read, “Many people are commenting on my video to tell me that Sanjay Dutt is not playing Mohammed Ghori in #Prithviraj Instead #Sonu and #Sanju helping Prithviraj. It means there is no powerful villain in the film. Means it will be a biggest disaster of 2022. Congrats to @akshaykumar.”
