Ahead of the release of Nani’s highly anticipated film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, the actor has been relentlessly promoting the film across major cities in the country. On his way to Mumbai for promotions, Nani bumped into his Eega co-star, actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The actress, who was Nani’s co-passenger on the same flight, took to her social media handles to share a lovely selfie with the Saripodhaa Sanivaaram star and wrote, “@nameisnani the sweetest surprise today. All the very best for #SaripodhaaSanivaaram.”

The pair were also seen engaging in a lively conversation and catching up in an airport bus as they made their way to Mumbai for their respective work.

The beloved on-screen duo has starred in two films: Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, and Eega, directed by SS Rajamouli, both of which were released in 2012. After their new video went viral, fans are now hoping to see their favorite on-screen pair star together once more!

Meanwhile, Samantha is currently gearing up for her upcoming Prime Video web series Citadel: Honey Bunny, alongside Varun Dhawan, which is slated for release on November 7, 2024. The series, set in the 1990s, is directed by Raj Nidimoru and Krishna DK of The Family Man and Farzi fame.
Nani’s upcoming film Saripodhaa Sanivaaram
Nani is also preparing for the release of his highly anticipated action drama Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, directed by Vivek Athreya. The film stars Nani, SJ Suryah, and Priyanka Mohan. It follows the story of Surya, played by Nani, a young man who only unleashes his anger on Saturdays. He is known for protecting vulnerable people and shielding the residents of Shokulapalam from a menacing cop, CI Daya, played by SJ Suryah.
In addition to the lead cast, the film also features Aditi Balan, Abhirami, Murali Sharma, Sai Kumar, Ajay Ghosh, and Harshavardhan in key roles. Vivek Athreya has also penned the screenplay for the film, which is produced by DVV Entertainment.
Saripodhaa Sanivaaram is scheduled to hit the big screens on August 29, 2024.
