    Sikandar shooting underway

Salman is currently busy shooting for Sikandar, alongside actress Rashmika Mandanna. Helmed by A R Murugadoss and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Sikandar is expected to hit the theatres on Eid 2025. With Salman in a double role, Sikandar will feature Baahubali-fame Sathyaraj as an antagonist.

A R Murugadoss has directed Tamil and Hindi films such as Ghajini, Thuppakki, Holiday: A Soldier Is Never Off Duty, Sarkar, and also wrote the script for Salman’s 2014 movie Jai Ho, which was a remake of Murugadoss’ Telugu hit Stalin. Sikandar marks Salman’s first collaboration with A R Murugadoss.

Salman and Rashmika began the shooting of Sikandar in June this year with a spectacular aerial action scene, aboard an aircraft, 33,000 feet above sea level. Earlier, it was reported that the star cast would fly to Europe by the end of 2024 to shoot a dance number and a romantic song for Sikandar.

Announcing the title of the film, Salman took to Instagram and shared the film’s first poster. He captioned the post, "Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar Milo (Watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan on this Eid, next Eid, meet Sikandar) Wish u all Eid Mubarak!"
