Taking responsibility for the attack, a member of Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang posted a message for Salman on Facebook saying, ‘Anyone who helps Salman Khan or the Dawood gang should be prepared.’ Following this, Salman Khan's security has been heightened. After the recently held attack at Baba Siddique, fans of Salman Khan were concerned and worried about him. It was reported that he canceled his Bigg Boss 18 shooting to attend the politician’s last rites. Reacting to these speculations, the actor’s manager told Hindustan Times that the claims were not true and that his security is enhanced, even on the sets of Sikandar.

The reports also reveal that even though the actor has always had security following him, an additional eight to ten personnel have been added to his team who conduct surveillance before his arrival.

According to a report by India Today, the Mumbai Police has allotted a command center at the actor's residence, Galaxy Apartment in Mumbai and AI surveillance cameras have been installed at all entrances. The cameras are used to identify anyone who appears in the area more than three times. In addition, barricades have been used outside the building to prohibit unauthorized visits, gatherings, and selfies.

The report also added that minor changes have been made to the shooting schedule of Sikandar, leading to further minor changes in the upcoming schedule. It is revealed that while the shooting was earlier supposed to be completed in November or December, due to recent changes it will now end in January next year.
