Salman Khan taps in Shah Rukh Khan's Jawan director Atlee for his next, deets inside

Superstar Salman Khan is looking forward to being directed by Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan ’s director Atlee for his next. The actor is reportedly impressed with his filmography and keen to collaborate with him for his future films. It is being said that the actor-director duo may team up for a family entertainer after the Tamil director wraps up his film tentatively titled Thalapathy 68.

According to Pinkvilla reports, Atlee, who has only delivered blockbusters films in his career so far, is also desperate to direct the Bollywood superstar. After having some unsuccessful outings lately, Salman is eying some of the talented filmmakers, especially from the South industry for his upcoming films. To note, Atlee is making his Bollywood directorial debut with Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan which also stars Nayanthara in the lead role.

Well, Salman is currently having a few exciting projects in his kitty. He has Yash Raj’s Tiger 3 in which he is reprising his most celebrated character Avinash Singh Rathore aka Tiger. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the film is the third installment of the Tiger franchise after Ek Tha Tiger and Tiger Zinda Hai. Besides Salman, it also stars Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in the lead roles. The film is in the post-production stage and is slated to hit theatres on Diwali 2023.

Besides Tiger 3, Salman also has Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan directed by Farhad Samji. The film has Pooja Hegde featuring opposite the superstar while also having an ensemble cast including Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari, Jassie Gill, Raghav Juyal, and Siddharth Nigam. The film is slated to hit theatres on Eid 2023. The actor is also geared up to make a cameo appearance in Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan also starring Deepika Padukone and John Abraham. Atlee, on the other hand, is currently shooting his Thalapathy 68 which stars Thalapathy Vijay in the lead role.
