Salman Khan presents award to Egyptian actress Essad Youniss, poses with Anthony Hopkins at Joy Awards 2024

Superstar Salman Khan recently graced the Joy Awards in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is not the first time that the actor has been part of the international award ceremony. He was honoured with the Personality of the Year in 2022. This year, he turned up to present the Lifetime Achievement Award to Egyptian actor-producer Essad Youniss. At the event, he also posed with the Hannibal actor Anthony Hopkins.

Several videos and pictures from the award event have been doing rounds on the internet. The actor opted for a light grey shirt paired with a dark grey suit to grace the event. A fan shared a video featuring Salman’s iconic moment with two-time Academy winner Anthony Hopkins. “What a legendary moment. Megastar #SalmanKhan with Anthony Hopkins at #JoyAwards 2,” read the caption. The other video where he honoured Essad, was captioned as, “#Salmankhan called on Stage to Give Award to Old Egyptian Actress. His Intro And Respect to her all hearts.”

Apart from Salman Khan, Alia Bhatt also attended the Joy Awards 2024. She was bestowed with the Honorary Entertainment Makers Award. In her acceptance speech, she expressed her obsession with cinema.

Meanwhile, Salman recently featured in the spy thriller Tiger 3 which grossed Rs 466.63 crore globally. The film, which was released in Diwali last year, is now available on OTT platform Prime Video. Directed by Maneesh Sharma, the fil, has Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi in prominent roles. Shah Rukh Khan and Hrithik Roshan made guest appearances in the film.

Currently, Salman is hosting the seventeenth season of the popular reality show Bigg Boss. Up next, the actor will be seen in The Bull backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions and directed by Vishnu Vardhan. He has also signed up for Tiger Vs Pathaan, the next film in Yash Raj Spy Universe. Apart from these, there are reports that he will reunite with Sooraj Barjatya for a family drama.
