Salman Khan announces the release date of Salim-Javed’s Angry Young Men!

That Salman Khan has always been an obedient and an extremely caring son to his parents is something that is well known to everyone. In an earlier interview, the Dabangg superstar had even revealed that, even at this age, he relies on his father Salim Khan for his pocket money. Talking about his father- the legendary Salim Khan, who has been a part of many hit films in the past, along with his writing partner Javed Akhtar. Together, they were known as the iconic Salim Javed jodi, the name behind many super hit films.

Today, Salman Khan took to social media and shared an update about the much-awaited series which is being made on the evergreen jodi of Salim-Javed. Aptly titled Angry Young Men, the series will reportedly follow the rise and rise of Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar in Bollywood.

In no time, there were many who took to the comments section and posted their congratulatory wishes for the series. There was Bollywood actress Zarine Khan who posted a folded hands and a red heart emoji. Another user wrote, ‘Inspirational series ever excited to watch salim & javed sahab ki journey Boss of bosses. There just cannot be anything more articulate than watching this evergreen jodi in action.

Another user wrote, ‘This will be Awesome to watch. I am so happy that all my children and also grandchildren will now be able to see the magical works done by the ever-respected Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar in Bollywood. As for the series Angry Young Men, while it is being directed by Namrata Rao, the Executive Producers of the same happen to be Salma Khan, Salman Khan, Ritesh Sidhwani, Farhan Akhtar, Zoya Akhtar, Reema Kagti.

The series will be dropped on Amazon Prime on August 20.
