Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor’s cold war comes to an end? Here’s what we know

While several reports state that all is not well between Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor, the latter has recently liked an announcement post about Salman Khan attending the World Cup on October 14 to promote his film. This action definitely hints at the fact that the cold war between Salman Khan and Arjun Kapoor has come to an end. The video announcement was shared by YRF on their Instagram account. Arjun Kapoor's liking of the post has signaled that all is well between Salman and Arjun. In an interview, Boney Kapoor acknowledged the tension between them; however, he also revealed that it was none other than Salman Khan who had encouraged Arjun Kapoor to get into films and become an actor.

In an interview with IANS, Boney Kapoor was quoted saying, "Arjun always wanted to become a film director, and that is why I had no plan to launch him, like a new hero. That was not our plan at all. But one day, I got a call from Salman saying Arjun should try his hand at acting because he has all the elements to become one. So, Salman took Arjun into his wings and groomed him." He also added, "Unfortunately, my relationship with Salman is strained now, but initially Salman encouraged Arjun to get into acting. I owe this to Salman.”

As of now, Arjun Kapoor is dating Malaika Arora, and they’ve been in a relationship for five years now. Malaika was previously married to Arbaaz Khan, who is the elder brother of Salman Khan. Malaika and Arbaaz also have a son. Arjun Kapoor was in a relationship with Arpita Khan, who’s Salman Khan’s sister, but the couple broke up in 2005. As of now, Arpita Khan is married to Bollywood actor Aayush Sharma. The couple has two sons.
