    Bollywood star Salman Khan has been getting death threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang for months now. Gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has time and again claimed that he wants to punish the actor for killing two blackbucks during the shooting of his 1999 film Hum Saath Saath Hain. Speaking about the case and the death threats that Salman has been receiving, his father and screenwriter Salim Khan in an interview said that his son loves animals and has no interest in killing them.

    During a conversation with ABP News, Salim Khan opened up about a conversation he had with Salman and said, "I had asked Salman who did it, and he said that he was not even present at the spot. He said that he was not even in the car when the incident happened. And he never lies to me."

    Speaking further, Salim said "Usko nahi hai yeh sab shauk jaanwaron ko maarne ka. Jaanwaron se mohabbat karta hai vo. Mafi mangna, ye accept karna hai ki maine maara hai. Salman ney kabhi kisi jaanwar ko nahi maara. Humne kabhi kisi coackroach ko bhi nahi maara. Hum inn cheejo me believe hi nhi karte (He has no interest in killing animals. He loves animals. He will not ask for an apology as he has not killed any animal. We have never even killed an animal; we do not believe in such things).”

    For the unversed, a gun firing incident took place outside Salman’s house in Bandra in April, the responsibility of which was taken by the members of Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Now, the chargesheet of the firing incident reveals that the members had also planned to kill the actor near his farmhouse in Panvel.

    On the professional front, Salman has resumed shooting for his reality television show Bigg Boss 18, with increased security personnel. He is also reported to begin shooting for his upcoming film Sikandar, alongside actress Rashmika Mandanna. The security surveillance outside his house, Galaxy Apartments, is also reported to have increased.
