Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan will make his debut in Telugu films with Devara. He will seen alongside Janhvi Kapoor and South superstar Jr NTR. Today, on September 10, the entire team of Devara graced the trailer launch event of Devara in Mumbai. They spoke about their experience of working with each other. An excited Saif, on the other hand, said that he felt like a "newcomer" on set.

Speaking about working in Devara, Saif said that going down in the South region was an "exciting experience" for him. He also thanked the makers of Devara for offering him the role. He said, “It was very kind of NTR ji, Siva ji to want me in the movie because movies made in the South recently have been mind-blowing, and to get a chance to act in a film like this, I felt like a newcomer. I am very excited because I have spoken the language which was new for me. I loved the movie and I have loved what I have done in it so I am excited.”
Devara cast and crew
Devara starring Jr NTR, Janhvi, Saif, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko, and Narain among others is directed by Koratala Siva. The film is scheduled to release on September 27 in theatres. It depicts the real-life events of the Karamchedu incident which unleashed terror on the people of the Dalit community.
Saif was last seen in Om Raut’s Adipurush where he played the role of Raavan. The film was massively criticized for its dialogues and bad VFX. Eventually, it ended up tanking at the box office.
Meanwhile, Saif is all set to return to his Race franchise in the fourth installment. Reportedly, Sidharth Malhotra will be joining him in the exciting sequel.
