Saif Ali Khan Attacked: Imtiaz Ali, Jr NTR, Parineeti Chopra and more express shock; wish for actor's speedy recovery

    In the early hours of Thursday, January 16, there was an attempted burglary at Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Bandra house.

    The entire nation was shocked after the news of Saif Ali Khan being stabbed six times at his house while trying to protect his family from an intruder came out. At the time of the attack, his wife and actress Kareena Kapoor Khan and sons Jehangir and Taimur were there in the house. According to the official statement, there was an attempted burglary at their residence. While the Mumbai Police is currently investigating the case, several celebs expressed shock and showed their concern for the actor on social media.

    South superstar Jr NTR, who worked alongside Saif in the recently released film Devara, took to X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Shocked and saddened to hear about the attack on Saif sir. Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery and good health.”

    Director Imtiaz Ali spoke to told News18, “It is shocking to hear about the incident with Saif. At this point, the first things that are coming to my mind are that his injuries are not severe and that he’s going to recover soon.”

    Speaking to PTI, actor Ravi Kishan said, “It’s sad. He is my friend and fellow artist… Mumbai Police is investigating and the thief will be caught. I pray for his recovery.” Former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal posted on X, “Shocked to hear about the attack on Saif Ali Khan. Wishing him a speedy recovery and strength to his family during this difficult time.”

    Pooja Bhatt questioned the security in Mumbai in a social media post and wrote, “Can this lawlessness please be curbed @MumbaiPolice @CPMumbaiPolice. We need more Police presence in Bandra. The city & especially the queen of the subburbs, have never felt so unsafe before. ?Kind Attn @ShelarAshish @mieknathshinde @AjitPawarSpeaks @Dev_Fadnavis ???.”

    Chiranjeevi Konidela also extended wishes for Saif’s recovery and wrote, “Deeply Disturbed by news of the attack by an intruder on #SaifAliKhan Wishing and praying for his speedy recovery.”

    Neil Nitin Mukesh wished for Saif’s recovery in a social media post. He wrote, “My prayers with Saif sir and the entire family. This is very sad indeed !! May your bravery and love for your family be rewarded with healing, strength, and peace. Get well soon #SaifAliKhan.”

    Parineeti Chopra also took to her Instagram stories and wrote, “Get well soon Saif.”

    Currently, Saif is out of danger and the family is safe. The actor's team shared the official statement and said that the police is looking into the matter.
