Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal to tie the knot next month; here’s all we know about their mehendi, wedding and reception

Actors Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha met each other for the first time on the sets of their film Fukrey. While the comedy emerged as a sleeper hit, love brewed between the two. Eight years later in 2020, the happy couple decided to take their relationship to the next level. They were all set to get married but then the coronavirus pandemic played a spoilsport in their plans. Well, after a disappointing delay of two long years, the love birds are now planning their dream wedding for October at a lavish bungalow in Mumbai.

In a report shared by Pinkvilla, a source revealed, “The pre-wedding festivities will begin at the Delhi Gymkhana on September 30 and continue for three days. Mehendi and Sangeet will take place on October 1. Ali and Richa will also have a wedding party for their extended family and friends on October 2. After 3 days of celebrations in Delhi, the actor duo will move to Mumbai for the remaining festivities.” Richa and Ali will tie the knot in an intimate ceremony at a rented bungalow on 6th October.

Like several other Bollywood couples who get married in private ceremonies, Ali and Richa will also throw a grand reception party a day later at the South Mumbai hotel for their friends and colleagues from the industry. On the work front, while Richa will be reprising her beloved character of the badass Bholi Punjaban in Fukrey 3, Ali had to drop out due to his already full shooting schedule.
