'Red flag se green flag' : Ranbir Kapoor gets trolled for hugging Alia Bhatt's family in front of paparazzi, watch

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia celebrated the latter’s sister Shaheen Bhatt’s birthday at the Taj Hotel in Mumbai yesterday night (November 28). A video of Ranbir hugging his mother-in-law and sister-in-law before leaving the location has been going viral on social media. However, the actor has found himself on the receiving end of some trolls who found the act to be allegedly fake in front of the paparazzi and to promote his upcoming movie Animal.

Talking about the same, the video has Ranbir who can be seen clad in a white tee and blue jeans hugging Soni Razdan and Shaheen. Alia could be seen donning a black pantsuit while the birthday girl was seen in a pink maxi dress. Soni was seen twinning in black with her daughter Alia. The Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actor could be seen giving his wife’s family a warm embrace before getting into his car. Take a look at the video.

No sooner did the video go viral than many netizens trolled Ranbir. One netizen stated, “All of a sudden...red flag se green flag ho gaya.” While another user said, “ And the promotions started. We must believe kangana.” This comment was in reference to Kangana Ranaut allegedly calling the couple’s relationship fake in one of her earlier social media posts. A netizen added, “PROMOTION SHOW.” A user went on to say, “Just before the film is releasing Ranbir who otherwise isn’t seen much or gets papped much becomes a loving caring hubby father-son otherwise he doesn’t even look into the cameras why such tactics audiences are not that mad they understand everything especially RK’s mother entire family starts praising and talking about his new film.” A user said, “Hubby Goals... Camera k samnay.” A netizen said, “He is trying so hard to change his 'player + cheater + toxic' image when his movie is about to drop [Not coincidence ] but unfortunately RK we all know who you truly are.”

Earlier in August this year, Ranbir was criticized after a video of Alia went viral wherein she said that she tends to wipe off her lipstick since her husband does not like the same. Netizens called the Rockstar actor an alleged misogynist. However, his wife cleared that he is completely the opposite in real in Koffee With Karan 8.
