Ranveer Singh sits on Deepika Padukone’s lap in a BTS clip from Cannes 2022; latter calls him ‘my trophy’

On the third day of the 75th Cannes Film Festival, Bollywood beauty and jury member Deepika Padukone turned up the temperature as she walked the red carpet in a sizzling red Louis Vuitton gown with a plunging neckline. She left fans as well as her husband Ranveer Singh gushing over her glam look when she uploaded pictures of the same on her official social media. Soon, the Jayeshbhai Jordaar actor got on a flight to France and joined his beautiful wife for an impromptu vacay while she was busy with work.

The two had a gala time together as they painted the town red. Well, much to our delight Deepika shared a behind the scenes video from her vanity room last night. It featured her sharing a light moment with her team as well as Ranveer. A crew member, who had gifted the actress a small toy bird earlier, presented her with her actual gift-- a huge pack of chocolates. Deepika called it the gift of the decade and went on to share it with the entire team. But in the end she got her actual gift when Ranveer sat on her lap.

Well, a few days ago Ranveer returned home. He looked casual in an orange track suit while his lady love twinned in the same color on the red carpet. After coming back to Mumbai from Cannes, Ranveer attended filmmaker Karan Johar ’s 50thbirthday bash along with many other well-known personalities from the industry.
