Ranveer Singh reveals his fanboy moment with Dharmendra while shooting Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani

Ranveer Singh is undoubtedly one of the most sought-after and adored actors of the Hindi film industry. While his performances in films are proof of his unmatchable versatility, because he can play any character believably, his enthusiasm and his energy set him apart from the others. Ranveer knows he’s living the dream and he couldn’t be more grateful about it. Even today, he ends up as a fan boy on set when he works with legendary actors. In a recent chat with ETimes, Ranveer opened up about one such incident with his co-star Dharmendra while shooting for Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani . The actor revealed, “On the set, Karan was briefing us. Dharamji was in the room and he was intently listening. And when I began to perform the scene with him in the frame, it was just him and me, and I realised what a moment it was!”

Ranveer went on to explain, “Who gets to do this? How did I even get here? Sometimes, I have to pinch myself to believe that it’s all happening to me. Working with these stalwarts is like living a dream.” During their appearance on Koffee With Karan 7, Ranveer’s co-star Alia Bhatt had revealed that he greets Dharmendra on set by mimicking the legend himself. How cool is that!

Also starring Shabana Azmi and Jaya Bachchan, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is a family dramedy which marks filmmaker Karan Johar’s return to the director’s chair after Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Another reason that makes this film special is Ranveer and Alia’s chemistry, which we earlier saw in Gully Boy.
