    Ranveer Singh will soon be seen in a thriller film directed by Aditya Dhar, which will go on floors on July 25. Apart from Ranveer, the film stars Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, Akshaye Khanna and R Madhavan. While the film will be directed by Aditya Dhar, Sanjay Dutt plays the antagonist in the film.

    This is Ranveer’s first collaboration with URI: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar.

    According to reports, Ranveer and Aditya Dar will begin shooting for their upcoming thriller film on July 25, which is set against the backdrop of Indian Intelligence Agencies.

    The first schedule of the film will take place in Thailand, where most of the agents interact with each other.

    A source close to the makers revealed, “It’s a film set in the golden era of Indian Intelligence Agencies, coinciding with the rise of R&AW. The team unites for the international leg, followed by schedules in India and UAE.”

    The film is also reported to have been inspired by real life events recorded from history books of RAW.

    Sanjay Dutt in a negative role

    “The official announcement is also around the corner. Ranveer is excited to venture into the new world of agents with Aditya Dhar’s next. While Sanjay Dutt plays a negative character in the film, Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, and Arjun Rampal will be seen as a part of the Indian System,” the source added.

    The makers have not decided upon a title yet. The source concluded by saying that after URI, this film is the perfect follow-up for director Aditya Dhar.

    The report adds that the director is intrigued by the world of spies and believes his next project will connect with the audience.

    “Ranveer is also pumped up to return to the sets with Dhar’s next. The film will be shot over a 6-month period and hit the big screen in the 2nd half of 2025,” the report added.
