Ranveer Singh accused of hurting women's sentiments with his nude photo shoot, police complaint filed against actor

It has been quite some time since Ranveer Singh ’s naked pictures hit the internet. But the storm doesn’t seem to die down soon. The latest report suggests that the actor has landed in legal trouble as a police complaint has been filed against him for allegedly hurting women’s sentiments.

The Padmaavat actor took everyone by surprise when he bared it all for the PAPER magazine photo shoot. He paid a tribute to American actor Burt Reynolds, who did a similar photoshoot for the magazine. According to India Today, Mumbai Police has filed a complaint against the actor for hurting the sentiments of women. More details regarding the complaint are still unknown.

Ranveer’s colleagues like Alia Bhatt, Arjun Kapoor , and Swara Bhasker among others have supported his choice. Ranveer himself said confidently that it is easy for him to be physically naked. “It’s so easy for me to be physically naked, but in some of my performances I’ve been damn fucking naked. You can see my f*** soul. How naked is that? That’s being naked. Actually, I can be naked in front of a thousand people, I don’t give a shit. It’s just that they get uncomfortable,” he told the magazine after the photo shoot.

On the other hand, Trinamool MP and Bengali actress Mimi Chakraborty raised eyebrows at Ranveer’s bold pictures. She questioned if women would have been appreciated if they shared similar pictures. "Internet broke with Ranveer singh’s latest photoshoot and comments were (mostly).Just wondering if the appreciation would hav been same if she was a woman.Or would u have burned her house down,taken up morchas given her a death threat and slut shamed her(sic)," she had tweeted.

In terms of work, Ranveer was last seen in Jayeshbhai Jordaar alongside Shalini Pandey, Boman Irani , and Ratna Pathak Shah. He will next be seen in Karan Johar ’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani and Rohit Shetty ’s Cirkus.
