Ranbir Kapoor wins hearts promoting mom Neetu Kapoor's Jugjugg Jeeyo at Karan Johar's birthday bash, fans call him a 'gem'

Karan Johar ’s 50th birthday bash brought the biggest stars of Bollywood together under one roof. Ranbir Kapoor whose public appearances are rather rare made heads turn as he arrived for the grand celebration with his mother Neetu Kapoor.

The actor won many hearts on the interest as he posed with mother at the red carpet and even promoted her upcoming film JugJugg Jeeyo, prompting her to do the signature sign from the movie with him.

Neetu Kapoor who is making her comeback to the big screen with the Karan Johar produced film, has been rather vocal about Ranbir’s support in previous interviews. The actress had spoken about how Ranbir and her daughter Riddhima pushed her to resume work after Rishi Kapoor ’s demise.

Well, seeing Ranbir support his mother’s upcoming film made a lot of hearts flutter on social media. His move also reminded several fans of how the had once struck Alia Bhatt ’s signature Gangubai Kathiawadi pose in front of the paparazzi ahead of the movie’s release.

While Ranbir and Neetu’s arrival together was all kinds of sweet, many fans also missed seeing him with his wife Alia Bhatt who is away shooting for her Hollywood debut Heart of Stone in U.K. with Gal Gadot. Alia is one of Karan Johar’s closest people in Bollywood and she did make up for her absence by posting a rather sweet note on social media for the filmmaker.

Neetu Kapoor who has made friends with several of the regular photographers, was asked about her ‘bahu’ Alia while leaving Karan;s birthday bash and she answered, “Phir bahu yaar … abhi bahu bohot kush hai aur mangal hai, abhi aap aage badho.”

While Neetu busy with Jugjugg Jeeyo and Alia shooting for her next, Ranbir is juggling two projects at the moment, Animal and Luv Ranjan’s untiled next. The actor will reportedly leave for Spain with Shraddha Kapoor soon to shoot for the remaining portions of the romantic comedy with her.
