    If Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt ’s love story wasn’t dreamy enough, father-to-be Ranbir Kapoor’s paternity plans will certainly convince you that he is the best husband. While Alia Bhatt has passed several months of her pregnancy working, Ranbir Kapoor has reportedly already chalked out his paternity leave.

    According to latest reports, Ranbir Kapoor ahs stopped signing films at the moment and is hoping to invest a good deal of time taking care of his new born child after Alia’s delivery. The actress however, will resume work as soon as she can post delivery according to a Bollywood Hungama report.

    The publication quotes a close friend of Ranbir who has claimed that it was the actor’s idea to be stay at home dad while soon to be mother Alia returns to work post pregnancy. The actor is very excited to welcome his first born and is busy wrapping up work on his film Animal before he goes on a break.

    Alia has portions of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani to complete after her delivery and will quickly join the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baiju Bawra soon after. Ranbir on the other hand, has signed no films after Animal keeping in mind his paternity leave.

    The couple as had a busy past couple of months with their wedding and back-to-back releases this year and with Brahmastra promotions finally wrapped up, looks like the couple is eagerly looking forward to welcoming their baby now.

    “We have done everything, the room is done, we have done all the preparations that are required for a child,” Ranbir had earlier said during an interview with Indian Express which also featured Alia. The actress had also added that while they have their check list ready, they are currently taking each day as it comes as parents-to-be.
