Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal Park to star Vicky Kaushal as the antagonist? Here's what we know

After the success of Animal, all eyes are on the sequel titled Animal Park which will revolve around Aziz Abrar played by Ranbir Kapoor who will be taking revenge on those responsible for his brother Abrar (Bobby Deol)’s death. It will be an epic clash between Ranbir VS Ranbir who will be playing both Rannvijay and Aziz in the sequel. However, now we hear an exciting development which states that actor Vicky Kaushal has been approached to play a negative role in the same.

According to a news report in Instant Bollywood, the makers of Animal Park have approached Vicky to play the antagonist in the same. Well, if this development is indeed true, it will be nothing less than a delight for all the fans out there. This will also be Vicky’s debut role as a baddie. Interestingly, Vicky’s Sam Bahadur had seen a clash at the box office with Animal on December 1, 2023.

Ranbir and Vicky will also be sharing screen space in the Sanjay Leela Bhansali directorial Love & War. The movie also stars Ranbir’s wife and actress Alia Bhatt. The movie will mark both Ranbir and Vicky’s second collaboration with Alia after Brahmastra and Raazi respectively. Vicky had also shared screen space with Ranbir in the 2018 film Sanju which turned out to be one of the blockbusters of that year. Fans also loved the bromance between the duo.

Well, we are manifesting that fans do get to see Ranbir and Vicky lock horns in Animal Park. Earlier, Shahid Kapoor was also rumoured to have been approached for the film. The actor had earlier collaborated with Sandeep Reddy Vanga in the 2019 film Kabir Singh which marked one of the biggest hits of his career. Animal amassed around Rs 500 crore at the box office making it a humongous success. However, some scenes of the movie involving violence and the treatment of women received flak from netizens.
