Ranbir Kapoor is among the top Bollywood actors today, having delivered several hit films. The actor recently featured on Nikhil Kamath’s podcast, the trailer of which was released recently. In the interview, the actor spoke about his father, the late actor Rishi Kapoor, and his temper. He also spoke about being called a Casanova after dating two popular actresses.
Ranbir Kapoor on his childhood and daughter Raha
When the interviewer, Nikhil Kamath, asked Ranbir about his childhood, the actor said that his father, Rishi Kapoor, was a short-tempered, but good man. He added that he never looked him in the eye and always used to bow before him.
Speaking about his daughter, Raha, Ranbir said that it felt like somebody had taken his heart out of his body and put it in his hands. He added that his wife Alia Bhatt considers Raha as a part of her, which is why she looks for Ranbir to do all the fun stuff with her.
Ranbir also revealed that he has tried doing therapy before, but it did not work out for him as he did not open himself up enough.
Ranbir Kapoor on being called a Casanova
He also spoke about his dating days and said that he dated two very successful actresses (referring to Deepika Padukone and Katrina Kaif) and because of that he came to be known as a Casanova. He added that he was labelled a cheater for a large part of his life.
Ranbir starred alongside his rumoured his rumoured girlfriend Katrina Kaif in Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani. Speaking about the couple's relationship, the film's producer Ramesh Taurani said, “There was never any tension on set. Ranbir is the kind of actor who if you work with once, you’ll feel like collaborating with on every film. He’s so good. He has never questioned his producers or directors. He’s still the same and that’s a very good quality that he has. No matter what is asked of him, he obliges with a simple ‘okay’. Uske chehre pe aapko kabhi shikan nahi dikhegi."
