Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt will get married at RK bungalow in a traditional Punjabi ceremony?

One of the most popular and talked about couples of Tinsel Town, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are reportedly tying the knot this month, after almost 5 years of dating. While initial reports had revealed that they want to focus on their professional commitments right now, recent buzz suggests that they have decided to pre-pone the wedding due to Alia’s maternal grandfather’s poor health. The actors are apparently squeezing their D-Day in between shoots of their upcoming films and instead of a destination wedding, they have now zeroed in on Mumbai.

A report shared by ETimes suggests that Raj Kapoor's Chembur mansion, fondly referred to as the RK bungalow, is being decked up and preparations have already begun. While Alia and Ranbir will reportedly say ‘I do’ on 17th, the pre-wedding festivities are expected to start next week. The report further revealed that it will be a traditional Punjabi ceremony. A source was quoted saying, “Family means the world for the Kapoors. It is perhaps the last Kapoor shaadi from this generation, which is why they wanted to keep it close to their roots.”

Recent rumors also stated that Ranbir will be throwing an impromptu bachelor's party ahead of his wedding to Alia.
