Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt return from Varanasi after Brahmastra shoot; netizens wonder why latter looks sad

Earlier this week, love birds Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor jetted off to Varanasi to shoot for their upcoming film Brahmastra . Helmed by director Ayan Mukerji , the superhero film which is the first in a planned trilogy, is expected to arrive in theatres on 9th September. Well, the short schedule consisted of a few important sequences and the filming of a big song. Much to the delight of fans, a clip featuring the lead pair went viral on social media during shoot. While Alia looked bright in a yellow ensemble, Ranbir opted for a t-shirt and jeans paired with an open button shirt on top.

Well, the couple returned to Mumbai post shooting last night and was snapped at the airport. Alia was dressed in a white suit whereas Ranbir looked cool and casual in a blue shirt and a golf cap, which reminded fans of late superstar Dev Anand. Netizens were impressed by their sense of style, but were left concerned with the look on Alia’s face. Many wondered why she looked sad. One fan commented: “Is it me or she really looks sadder now? I wonder if it’s tired due to their busy schedules or because personal life. (One thing… I think he’s very non affective to her, maybe he is in private, but who knows).”

Some netizens accused Ranbir for Alia’s mood in the comment section, but one fan shared a fresh perspective. The comment read: “Alia is looking sad bcz her grandfather is hospitalised for last few days. It’s so wrong when people blame other partner for anything odd in one partner. People have so many things to worry about in life other than partners. Same happened when Ranbir went through his most difficult days during his father's cancer treatment and death. This is unfair.”

Well, some even guessed that Alia and Ranbir are just tired after their hectic work schedules.
