Rana Daggubati touches Shah Rukh Khan’s feet at IIFA 2024 pre-event; says ‘We are South Indian..’

Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan recently made an appearance during the IIFA 2024 pre-event in Mumbai. The King of Bollywood was joined by other actors like Rana Daggubati, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Abhishek Banerjee. While the event grabbed attention due to Shah Rukh’s humour and witty remarks, a video of Rana Daggubati touching Shah Rukh’s is being widely circulated online.

Rana Daggubati touches Shah Rukh Khan’s feet

A video of actors Rana Daggubati, Shah Rukh Khan and filmmaker Karan Johar was posted by the paparazzi on social media from the IIFA 2024 pre-event in Mumbai. The video features Rana touching the feet of Shah Rukh and Karan and saying, "We are fully South Indian, so this is how we do it."

The video begins with Rana standing on the stage and touching Shah Rukh’s feet. The actor also touched filmmaker Karan Johar’s feet who was standing on the other side of the stage.

In the video, Shah Rukh was seen sporting a quirky, casual look with a graphic black tshirt, paired with black pants and a matching hat. The actor’s short haircut also became the highlight of the evening.   Karan looked dashing in an army print shirt, styled with black pants, matching boots and black sunglasses.

Rana, on the other hand, opted for a white t-shirt, topped with a black jacket and olive-green pants for the evening. Telugu actor Rana Daggubati rose to national fame after featuring in Baahubali: The Beginning and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion.

Shah Rukh and Karan will host the awards night of IIFA in Abu Dhabi this year. Shah Rukh in his speech revealed that the awards night will feature amazing performances from actors like Rekha, Shahid Kapoor, Janhvi Kapoor, and Kriti Sanon, among others.

Shah Rukh Khan’s films

Shah Rukh was last seen in Rajkumar Hirani’s Dunki, alongside actress Taapsee Pannu. The actor was part of three blockbuster films in 2023 including Pathaan, Jawan and Dunki. He is currently preparing for his next film, KING which will also feature his daughter, actress Suhana Khan and Munjya actor Abhay Verma.
