Ramayan’s Arun Govil, Dipika Chikhlia & Sunil Lahri receive grand welcome in Ayodhya ahead of Ram Mandir Pran Pratishtha

It was in 1987 that audiences were first introduced to Ramanand Sagar's Ramayan, the most expensive mythological series of that time. While Arun Govil and Dipika Chikhlia won hearts as Lord Ram and Sita Maa, Sunil Lahri and Dara Singh left a deep impact on fans with their portrayal of Lakshman and Hanuman. In 2020 when the entire country was put on a lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, the series was re-telecast again and it broke several records. Ever since then actors Arun, Dipika and Sunil have been fan favourites. Well, today the three reached Ayodhya ahead of a special occasion.

As most of us know, the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Shri Ramjanmabhoomi Mandir is being held in Ayodhya on 22nd January. Well, ahead of the consecration ceremony of Ram Mandir, which the entire country is eagerly waiting for, Arun along with Dipika and Sunil reached the venue and received a grand welcome. They greeted the crowds with folded hands and once again won us over with their aura and humility. A video of the same has now surfaced on social media. It is winning hearts and fans can’t stop themselves from showering the comment section with love and blessings.

For instance, one fan pointed out: “Kitne punya kie hongey inhone itne logg samaan se swagat kar rahe hai”, whereas another delighted social media user wrote: “goosebumps....kudos to @ramanand_sagar_shreekrishna (Ramanand sagar ji) for searching these avtaars .... jai shri ram 😍🙏.” A third fan, who wished Dara Singh was here today, shared, “Jai Hanuman ji ..missing Dara Singh ji😢🙏🌸🌸”, whereas another comment read: “AAnkho main aasu aagaye , jay shree ram 🙏.” Well, we completely agree with netizens. This video has surely left us with goosebumps!
