Rakhi Sawant reveals it was Ritesh’s decision to separate; will wait for him for a year if he wants to return

Actress Rakhi Sawant ’s mystery husband Ritesh finally came in front of the world last year when he entered the Bigg Boss 15 house with her as a VIP wildcard contestant. They saw many bumps along the road-- Ritesh was schooled by Salman Khan for his behavior towards Rakhi, it was reported that he is married to someone else and has a child, and the two also revealed that they are not legally married because Ritesh never divorced his first wife. But in the end, post the show, Rakhi and Ritesh got back together and were spotted together on multiple occasions. So it was shocking when Rakhi announced their separation in a recent social media post.

Well, in an interview with ETimes post the break up, Rakhi has revealed that the decision to get separated was made by Ritesh. She was quoted saying, “It happened yesterday at about 3 pm. But I didn't call it off. It was his decision. He was with me on Friday, throughout. We woke up on Sunday very normally. Suddenly, he started packing his bags and said that he wants to separate from me as his legal issues (Read: with his wife) have become too much. God knows who he's spoken to during those morning hours that led him to take this step.”

She went on to share that she still loves Ritesh and is ready to wait for him for about a year if he wants to come back. Adding that she’s ready to forgive him for everything, Rakhi stated, “If he gets divorced and wants to come back to me, then he should know that I am waiting for him. But if he is happy with his wife and kids then God bless them. But for me, marriage and love is not a joke.” Rakhi also stated that she is depressed and is constantly eating after the break up. But she’s glad that her BB15 buddies Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Pratik Sehajpal reached out to her along with Mahima Chaudhary and Kashmera Shah after she announced her separation.
