Raju Srivastava is still critical, his friend Ahsaan Qureshi says only miracle can save him

Comedian-actor Raju Srivastava ’s condition is deteriorating day by day. He continues to be on a ventilator in the intensive care unit of AIIMS, Delhi. Following a heart attack, he has been undergoing treatment for the past nine days. The latest reports suggest that he is brain dead and only a miracle can save him as according to his fellow friend Ahsaan Qureshi .
Raju collapsed during a workout at the gym on August 10, and immediately shifted to the hospital. He underwent an angioplasty and has been on life support since then. As per a senior doctor at AIIMS, the comedian is still unconscious and they cannot say anything about the chances of recovery. Raju’s daughter Antara commented, “doctors are still treating him” as per PTI reports.

Most recently, Ahsaan updated on Raju’s health saying that doctors have surrendered and Raju’s family has been told that only a miracle can save him. “The news about his death is untrue, the doctors have said that his brain is dead. His condition is very critical. We all friends are praying and chanted Hanuman Chalisa a few minutes ago,” he told Pinkvilla.
As worries mounted over the uncertainty of Raju’s recovery, his friends Rajpal Yadav and Sunil Pal shared an emotional video. While Sunil asked the fans to pray for Raju’s recovery as he is delicate at the moment. Rajpal posted a video in which he said that he is desperately waiting to meet Raju after he gets better. “Get well soon Raju mere bhai (brother) ...miss seeing you,”he captioned the video.
Meanwhile, Raju’s family had earlier released a statement on his official Instagram page, saying his condition was stable. They also requested to ignore rumours and fake news being circulated about his health. In terms of work, he was last seen as a special guest on India's Laughter Champion.
